Dallas-Ft.
Worth the RFID Hub. The Dallas-Ft. Worth's
-area's premier technology business association,
the Metroplex Technology Business Council, launched
an RFID Special Interest Group (SIG) in August
2004 in an effort to help foster the RFID industry
in North Texas.This created a joint venture between
Dallas and Ft. Worth-area RFID companies, universities,
civic groups, industry associations and the investment
community to build RFID business momentum in the
Dallas area known as Dallas-Ft. Worth the RFID
Hub.
GlobeRanger is a proud founding member of Dallas-Ft.
Worth the RFID Hub and is helping to map RFID
development here in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. |

EPCglobal,
Inc., a joint venture between EAN International
and the Uniform Code Council (UCC), is a not-for-profit
organization entrusted to drive the global, multi-industry
adoption and implementation of the EPCglobal NetworkTM.
EPCglobal leverages the nearly thirty year heritage
of EAN International and the UCC in successfully
partnering with industry. The neutral, consensus-based,
standards organization aims to make organizations
more effective by enabling true visibility of
information about items in the supply chain by
developing and managing standards for the EPCglobal
Network. |

Metroplex
Technology Business Council (MTBC) is an
association of technology companies dedicated
to the development of the high-tech industry in
North Texas. The organization is focused on creating
a supportive business environment for technology
companies and the technology community through
leadership, advocacy, education and cooperative
initiatives. Founded in 1994 by MCI, Nortel Networks,
Fujitsu and Rockwell International, MTBC members
combine its resources to: establish a global center
of excellence, foster development of human resources,
leverage collaborative actions, provide for technology
leadership development, and support the development
of local world-class public and higher education
systems. |
